Nollywood star Adeniyi Johnson has publicly confronted filmmaker Bola Akande following the tragic loss of his fellow actor, Ola Lawal.
The rising actor reportedly passed away during a film shoot under Akande’s supervision, sparking outrage in the industry.
In a fiery Instagram post, Johnson criticized Akande’s silence and lack of action since the incident occurred.
While clarifying that he wasn’t accusing her of causing Ola’s de@th, Johnson demanded transparency and compassion toward the grieving family.
“Our hearts ache over OLA’s untimely departure. Your silence speaks louder than words. We’re not pointing fingers, but we need answers—your version of events, your condolences, and immediate support for the family left behind,” Johnson expressed.
He further revealed that the late actor’s father was deeply hurt by the cold handling of the situation.
“His father is devastated, feeling insulted by the impersonal request for bank details mere moments after OLA’s passing—like his son was just another transaction,” Johnson added.
Johnson ended his plea with a call for Akande to take responsibility and rectify the situation.
