The man behind the controversial viral clip of Pastor Paul Adefarasin has finally spoken out.
Â
The clergyman faced massive backlash online after footage surfaced appearing to show him holding what many believed to be a firearm while in his luxury SUV.
Â
Defending himself during a sermon, Adefarasin insisted he doesn’t own any weapons and was never armed.
Â
Now, the videographer has shared his version of events on Daddy Freeze’s platform, revealing what truly happened.
Â
He explained he was filming high-end vehicles at Ikoyi roundabout that day, aiming to capture at least ten Range Rovers – with the pastor’s car being his first subject.
Â
After calling out to the approaching vehicle, it surprisingly stopped, the window rolled down, and Adefarasin cautioned him against filming.
Â
The creator maintains he remained non-threatening throughout the encounter.
Â
His account reads:
Â
“I kept my distance – even stepped back further. As I began recording, I simply called out ‘Boss, Boss.’ When he stopped, I assumed he wanted to greet me. But he just warned ‘Don’t do that,’ and I immediately apologized. Honestly, I was more focused on framing the shot than observing him closely. I noticed something in his hand as he drove off, but couldn’t tell what it was…”
