In a surprising move, the rising star chose to give away his entire initial earnings to a church.
Ruger shared that shortly after this generous act, his career skyrocketed, earning him millions within months.
During a candid chat with VJ Adams, the “Bounce” hitmaker reflected on how financial success transformed his perspective.
He revealed, “My first music paycheck was ₦500,000 – I gave it all to my church without spending a kobo. The next payment? ₦1 million! I felt unstoppable and treated myself. Then the floodgates opened – millions kept rolling in within a year.”
“Wealth definitely reshaped me,” Ruger admitted. “Let’s be real – money changes everyone. Your mindset shifts completely. Problems feel smaller, priorities change. Look at icons like Jay-Z – they’ve reached that level where negativity doesn’t faze them. That’s the success I’m chasing.”
“My ultimate goal? To live completely stress-free, focused solely on my craft and legacy,” he concluded.
