Nancy Nnadi, CEO of EeZee Conceptz Limited, has disclosed ongoing discussions with gospel artist Mercy Chinwo to resolve their royalty disagreement.
This update followed Nnadi’s decision to retract previous remarks made against the singer, which had sparked legal action.
Earlier this year, Chinwo took legal steps against Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu (Eezee Tee), her former label head, for allegedly withholding $345,000 in music royalties.
The dispute traces back to their 2023 split after financial disagreements between the singer and the record label.
During the court proceedings, Nnadi had publicly accused Chinwo of financial impropriety—claims that prompted the artist to file a defamation lawsuit demanding an apology and content removal.
Over the weekend, Nnadi officially rescinded her statements in an Instagram post, citing legal counsel and religious mediation.
She expressed hope for divinely guided resolution through clergy-led negotiations, stating: “Following legal advice and in pursuit of peace, I retract my previous comments about Mercy Chinwo. May God bless the reconciliation efforts led by our spiritual leaders.”
