Former Akwa United and Super Eagles striker Mfon Udoh is now recuperating following a serious car crash that took place on Thursday.
Though specifics remain unclear, sources indicate Udoh’s car sustained significant damage during the accident.

The 32-year-old attacker, holder of the record for most goals in one Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign, obtained immediate medical care and remains under professional supervision.
Udoh first gained national attention while playing for Enyimba, netting 23 times during the 2014 NPFL season and setting a new league benchmark.
After stints with Akwa United and FC Tulsa in the USL Championship, he became the leading scorer in the 2016 CAF Champions League with nine goals.
Having earned Super Eagles caps in 2016, Udoh participated in CHAN qualifiers and international friendlies.
