US-based nurse Yinka Theisen, who was briefly wed to Linc Edochie, has shared her side of the story in a candid Instagram Live chat with actor Uche Maduagwu, revealing startling details about her abrupt breakup with the Edochie family.
Before the explosive interview aired, Yinka hinted on Facebook that she was ready to set the record straight.
During the Friday night session on July 4, Yinka—who had a fleeting marriage to Pete Edochie’s son—claimed the family scapegoated her, suggesting tribal bias played a role. “I won’t forget how they sacrificed me,” she vented. “When I confronted Linc, he admitted my Yoruba roots might be why.”
She denied allegations of leaking phone numbers belonging to family members Leo Edochie and another relative, calling the accusations baseless. This comes after Yinka previously publicized May Edochie’s private number, citing May’s silence amid online attacks from “May Nation.”
The retaliation saw May’s supporters circulating Linc and Leo’s contacts, but Yinka maintains she had zero involvement.
The interview also touched on her feud with Rita Edochie, whom Yinka accused of secretly sabotaging May despite publicly championing her. Notably, Rita has been vocal in backing May following Yul Edochie’s controversial second marriage to Judy Austin.
Yinka’s marriage to Linc in June 2025 sparked backlash after she openly supported Yul and Judy, earning ire from May’s loyalists.
