TikTok Superstar, Khaby Lame Voluntarily Leaves US After Getting Detained by ICE

 

Social media sensation Khaby Lame has exited the United States after a brief immigration ordeal.

The viral TikTok star was taken into custody by immigration officials before choosing to leave the country voluntarily.

In an exclusive statement to Mail Online, ICE confirmed the 25-year-old Italian-Senegalese influencer was detained at Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport on June 6th for breaching his visa conditions, having arrived in America at the end of April.

Seringe Khabane Lame, known globally as Khaby, was offered voluntary departure and has since returned overseas.

“Immigration authorities apprehended the social media personality due to visa overstay violations. After processing, Lame elected for voluntary departure and has now left American soil,” the official ICE statement revealed.

This incident occurs amid heightened immigration enforcement under the current administration, which has prioritized stricter border controls since assuming office earlier this year.

The government’s intensified removal operations have resulted in numerous deportations nationwide, targeting individuals residing in the country unlawfully.

Khaby, who transitioned from Senegal to Italy’s Chivasso region as an infant, achieved full Italian citizenship last year while building his astronomical social media presence.

With an astonishing 162.2 million TikTok followers, the comedic content creator remains one of the platform’s most recognizable digital stars.
